I’m joining the Wedshooter.tv team October 1.
I’ll be in charge of communications for the website, among other things.
Wedshooter.tv is the first website in Asia to bring Photography Education online.
Pretty exciting stuff, especially if you are familiar with Louis Pang and his award winning work.
More info about the website in the Wedshooter FAQ and in the website’s BLOG.
The website will be going “live” on October 8.
Oh, in case you’re wondering, this is a part time arrangement.
I will still be working at Studio 10. It’s business as usual. =]
Whoever thought that you could make music with a tree? One thing is for sure, Diego Stocco can make music out of anything. I also like his Experibass video, where he amplifies cello and violin through a Double Bass. Oh yes, he also makes music out of sand. Pure genius.
Now if you will excuse me, I will attempt to make a camera with some paperclips and leftover pizza. =]

“I was once young
now I am old
I have never seen the Righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.”
The Bible
All I can say is, Lord, thank You. I really needed this. You heard my heart cry.

Maybe you’re wondering, “What’s the deal with all the shoeboxes?”
I used to organize a lot of my things in shoe boxes. Maybe I still do, but I’m not telling you.
Anyway, a shoe box is a really free and easy way of organizing stuff. Photos, letters, receipts, etc.
I also have a habit of collecting things I see on the web - images, design ideas and good writing.
These little snippets of inspiration have an influence over my work and the way I see things.
Instead of keeping them on my Mac, I have put them all here in virtual shoe boxes. Sharing is caring.
Don’t expect anything neatly organized in these ‘boxes’ though.
But if you dig in, you might find something interesting.
Image Shoebox is for photos, art, and typography that nourish my creative soul. I use imgfave.com, lots of photos to ‘fav’ and you can capture pics on the web directly to your imgfave page without first saving to your hard drive. Clever.
Design Shoebox is for really delicious print design ideas that I don’t want to forget. I’m using posterous.com for this one. Like imgfave, I use a widget to quickly snap pics to save it directly to the posterous page. Posterous is actually a blogging platform. For an instant blog, send an email to post@posterous.com. It’s really cool.
Websnap Shoebox is for screen captures and full webpage snapshots. More for text based things, though I might put anything else in there too. I use a Mac program called Little Snapper, which then uploads to a free image hosting site called Ember.
I hope this will inspire you to do create something beautiful today. Or at least get a shoebox and play with it. Yeah.

Reblogged from Samantha’s Xanga
“The wonder of a relationship is NOT : WE ARE MEANT TO BE
Rather, it is : Another human being has chosen me and has decided to love me
despite my weaknesses and shortcomings.
WOW.”

I love this video.
It demonstrates a brilliant combination of the tilt-shift (or perspective control) lens with time-lapse photography.
The tilt-shift lens is used mostly for architecture. But what I know is that if you shoot down from a higher vantage point (i.e. from the air or a tall building), it is possible to tweak the lens settings to make everything look miniature.
Can’t wait to get my hands on one. Yum!
I was working on this project in the first half of September.
Shot, edited and had the catalog pre-press ready in 2 weeks.
Releasing this here before it hits the stores in about a week or two from now.
